Welcoming everyone – babies and visiting bikers, large walking groups and small groups of friends, regulars, occasional and first time visitors the Eastgate’s family friendly café is the daytime heart of the Eastgate.

The menu is continually refreshed to increase the range of tasty food and drinks on offer, and to cater for customers who require (or prefer) gluten and/or dairy free options.

The café is famous for its selection of scrumptious cakes including white chocolate and raspberry, lemon and blueberry, carrot cake, Victoria sponge, chocolate cake and pear and ginger loaf. These are all sourced from local bakers as are many of the traybakes, biscuits and scones.
