Social Enterprise Scotland

If you are a social enterprise or looking to become one and aren’t already a member of Social Enterprise Scotland, then do get in touch with membership@socialenterprise.scot.  Social Enterprise Scotland offers brilliant support to social enterprises at all stages of development and, as a member-led organisation, represents the sector at a policy level to ensure social enterprise voices are heard.  For organisations with a turnover of less than £250k a year it’s free to become a member.

 

Community Enterprise

With 30 years of working in communities, Community Enterprise has been at the forefront of the community business movement in Scotland. It provides skilled support, helping communities and social enterprises with everything from development and strategic planning to branding and design.

Rural Social Enterprise Hub

Scotland’s rural and remote areas have 33% of all social enterprises in Scotland and yet just 17% of the population.

The Rural Social Enterprise Hub has been set up to provide a space for collaboration, peer to peer learning, and knowledge exchange between all those committed to thriving rural social enterprise.

Inspiralba

Inspiralba was set up in 2009 with the aim of supporting economic growth that delivers social and environmental benefits for communities in Argyll and Bute and across rural Scotland.

Over the past 14 years they have developed a number of services providing business support, learning and employability opportunities, with a focus on rural social enterprise.

Social Enterprise Support Map

The Social Enterprise Support Map is a free digital library of support for community groups, third sector organisations, social enterprises and entrepreneurs.

Scotland has a well developed support eco-system to help social enterprises start, sustain and grow their organisation and their impact. The Social Enterprise Support Map allows anyone to navigate this landscape easily and efficiently – giving organisations and individuals the resources to become stronger and more sustainable.
